The SAS-Tec back protection offers optimal comfort. In addition, it is the lightest protection available in the market and it is characterised by optimal ergonomics. It has level 2 CE EN 1621-2 certification and complies with the F.M.I. and F.I.M. regulations for Motocross, Enduro, Trial, Supermoto and Snowmobile competitions. SAS-Tec is produced by using a material that combines state-of-the-art chemistry and engineering that instantly reacts to impacts, distributing the hit over a large surface, thus reducing its effects. The SAS-Tec material – in its regular state – is soft; when it is untreated, but when it is hit, its atoms join firmly in order to dissipate the energy and then return to their initial state. Thanks to this feature, the protection that is provided is similar to the one offered by traditional Fabric, whereas the lightness, comfort and versatility offered cannot be compared with the solutions that are regularly used. The only limit for the field of application of this technology is imagination.

Practical housings hold the protective elements, which are perfectly positioned at the crucial points of the body. The protectors are in turn soft and comfortable, but instantly become stiff and protective when they are needed. These features, along with the standard thermoregulation and breathability of SIXS products, make the garments in the Pro Tech line an excellent soluti on for anyone looking for a single product offering both comfort and protection.

TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

Fabric unique on the protection scene, which combine chemistry and advanced engineering to obtain a top performing impact absorption system. In normal conditi ons, the molecules fl ow freely to allow the material to remain soft and pliant, but at the moment of impact they lock together to absorb the shock and abate the force transmitted. Afterwards the molecules immediately return to their pliant state.

THE CHOICE IS UP TO YOU

Pro Tech line products can be purchased “bare” (meaning without protectors) or in the “KIT” version (complete with protectors). The KIT lets the athlete purchase just one bundle of protective elements and use them inside other products in the Pro Tech range.
